About Nutrition in Medicine

Nutrition Education for Practicing Physicians (NEPP) Overview

Nutrition Education for Practicing Physicians (NEPP) is the newest initiative of the Nutrition in Medicine Project.

Objectives of the NEPP Curriculum

To develop a core curriculum in nutrition for practicing physicians that:

  • brings evidence-based clinical nutrition education to physicians;
  • provides links to refresh nutrition foundation knowledge;
  • prepares physicians to address the major nutrition-related health concerns encountered in everyday practice;
  • uses novel instructional technologies that make better use of the limited learning time for this important, but often overlooked subject.

NIM Medical School Curriculum Overview

Objectives of the Nutrition in Medicine Medical School Curriculum
